Sprinkle
This crimson weasel is a seasoned Veteran Adventurer's Pet of Laura Bailey's "Critical Role" character Jester Lavorre. He's also frequently forgotten about and has been kept alive by the grace of the Traveler in what has become a bit of an in-joke in the Critter Community.
Through use of crochet and other textile techniques I am creating a life sized cuddly prop to send Laura Bailey so that she can use it as a reminder to check on and protect this special pet in the heat of the moment.

How I Think Sprinkle is Still Alive
Before I go into my project, I want to support the DM's decision in keeping Sprinkle alive up to this point with this bit of D&D logic that's been swimming in my brain meats for a while.

Described as twitchy, paranoid, and aggressive, Sprinkle has survived through his handler's countless polymorph transformations, underwater travel, attacks from countless different creatures including dragons, and all manner of area effect magic in climates ranging from the hot Volcanic Rumblecusp to the frigid cold of Eiselcross. Assuming that Sprinkle has been leveling up every time his handler has since she bought him, I feel this tiny creature has more than enough experience points to warrant proficiency in Athletics and Dexterity based Evasion tactics. And as for some of the more hairier situations, The Traveler knows how much Sprinkle means to Jester, so looking out for his cleric's mental wellbeing by helping to keep him alive just makes sense. Also, if I recall correctly, Sprinkle has been the target of an attack exactly one time and dodged it; everything else has been area damage, or the elements. And, while it is true that full long rests would not be typical for a hypervigilant animal, being carried around in Jester's hood provides ample opportunity for short rests where healing can be accomplished while the group is traveling, which balances out his low hit points.

SPECIAL TRAITS
Keen Hearing and Smell. Sprinkle has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or smell.
Fetch. Sprinkle can fetch small items.
Hypervigilant. Sprinkle has advantage on Dexterity checks and saves.
Evasion. Sprinkle’s instinctive agility lets them dodge out of the way of certain area effects, such as a blue dragon’s lightning breath or a fireball spell. When Sprinkle is subjected to an effect that allows them to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, Sprinkle takes instead no damage if they succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if they fail.
Traveler’s Protection. Once per long rest, Sprinkle can gain the advantages of one of the following spells: Protection from Energy, Water Breathing, or Protection from Evil and Good.
ACTIONS
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 1 piercing damage.
